Farmer Mark Goughan of Caribou says they had a good start but they don't have enough sap to open their sugar house up for the weekend. He says this isn't too out of the ordinary for his operation though. He says their farm sits low next to the river and has gravity fed lines so they're only running on Maine Maple Sunday about 50 percent of the time. We asked how this year's crop is looking so far.
It's a weekend that's all about the maple syrup!
