Northern Maine Community College chef Rob Ottaviano has been chosen as a semi-finalist in the World’s Best Lobster Roll competition to be held at this summer’s Down East Lobster Roll Festival.

According to the National Education Association, more than 160 - thousand children miss school every day out of fear of being bullied. One school here in the county is trying to fight that statistic through a program called People Empowering Positivity.
