Sex Offender Sentenced for Failing to Register

James Robert Underwood, 43, of Dalton, Georgia, was sentenced today in U.S. District Court by Chief Judge Nancy Torresen to 33 months in prison for failing to register as a sex offender. Underwood pleaded guilty on June 24, 2015.

An Edmundston man pleaded guilty in Edmundston Provincial Court on December 1, 2015 to fraud and forgery charges stemming from allegations dating back to 2012.
