The University of Maine at Presque Isle’s University Players will present an hour-long play titled The Murderous Mansion of Mr. Uno on Thursday, Nov. 30 and Friday, Dec. 1 at 7 p.m. in the Auditorium in Wieden Hall. Director Caryn Cleveland-Short and her talented cast of actors brings The Diary of Anne Frank to UMFK’s stage.
The story of the play is well known to many and focuses on Anne Frank, a Jewish girl who has to go into hiding during World War II to escape from the Nazis . Together with seven others she hides in the secret annex of a house in Amsterdam. After more than two years in hiding they are discovered and deported to concentration camps (www.annefrank.org). There will be four opportunities to see the play.
October 12, 13, and 14 at 7:00 pm and also on October 14 at 2:00 pm (matinee) in Fox Auditorium.
Tickets for the play are $10. UMFK students with a valid student ID get free admission.
