Want to experience the past times of the Medieval world? The Caribou Public Library, 30 High Street, is hosting the Twin Riverswood, Past Times with Good Company, 6 pm, September 28 in the Caribou Room. Twin Riverswood is an educational group, which studies the Middle Ages by recreating the pastimes and crafts. For those who may not know, the Middle Ages in Europe—also referred to as Medieval Time—took place from 500 AD (from the all of the Roman Empire) to 1500 AD (to the rise of the Ottoman Empire). The Caribou Public Library and Twin Riverswood invite all to join them as they talk about their realm. There will be a Q&A session, displays, and crafts for those who wish to do them. Light refreshments will be served. All are welcome.
As part of Gentile Hall’s Week of Wellness celebration Sept. 25 – 29 at the University of Maine at Presque Isle, the community is invited to a Bosu Ball training clinic at 4 p.m. at Gentile Hall on Thursday, Sept. 28.
