UMPI hosts First Friday reception

UMPI's Reed Fine Art Gallery, located in the Center for Innovative Learning (formerly the Library)
The University of Maine at Presque Isle’s Reed Find Art Gallery, located in the Center for Innovative Learning (formerly the Library), will present UnREEDable Words, works on paper, by Todd Camplin, August 28 – October 6, 2017. The public is invited to view the exhibition through the show’s run and gather for a gallery reception, being held in conjunction with the Presque Isle First Friday Art Walk, on Friday, Oct. 6 from 5 – 7 p.m. This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. The Reed Fine Art Gallery is open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Sunday from 5 p.m. – 10 p.m., and is closed on Saturday. Some of the highlights include Athletics’ Spaghetti Supper Fundraiser on Thursday, Oct. 5, 5 – 7 p.m., MPR; Oktoberfest & Pints with Professors on Friday, Oct. 6, 4:30 p.m., Campus Center Lawn; Saturday, Oct. 7, second UMPI Alumni Hour, 10 a.m., MPR; Wine Tasting on Saturday, Oct. 7, 4:30 – 6:30 p.m., President’s House and the Athletics’ Hall of Fame Dinner on Saturday, Oct. 7, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., MPR.
