Director Caryn Cleveland-Short and her talented cast of actors brings The Diary of Anne Frank to UMFK’s stage.

The story of the play is well known to many and focuses on Anne Frank, a Jewish girl who has to go into hiding during World War II to escape from the Nazis . Together with seven others she hides in the secret annex of a house in Amsterdam. After more than two years in hiding they are discovered and deported to concentration camps ( There will be four opportunities to see the play.

October 12, 13, and 14 at 7:00 pm and also on October 14 at 2:00 pm (matinee) in Fox Auditorium.

Tickets for the play are $10. UMFK students with a valid student ID get free admission.

2017 Aroostook County Brew & Wine Fest

The Aroostook County Brew & Wine Fest is a collaboration between The Central Aroostook Chamber of Commerce, and the Nordic Heritage Center. In its third year, the festival has invited vintners from the Maine Winery Guild to participate along with brewers from the Maine Brewer's Guild to make our third year even more fun! Our goal is to create a fun and unique event for craft beer and wine lovers alike.  We also want to promote locally grown products that are used in the beer making process. Unlucky Joe will be playing! Games, food and a great time!
