Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week - Arson in Fredericton

FREDERICTON, N.B. Crime Stoppers and the Northeast District RCMP, Neguac Detachment, are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the person or persons who attempted to set a house on fire on Micmac Road on the Esgenoôpetitj First Nation.

Sometime between August 8 and 10, 2015, a gas bomb was thrown into a residence under construction at 558 Micmac Road. A rock was thrown to damage the window of a door at the side of the house then the gas bomb was deployed. The house was not destroyed completely, but received a considerable amount of smoke damage.
