Crimestoppers: New Year's burglary in Bridgewater

BRIDGEWATER, Maine - Between New Year’s Eve and New Year's Day someone stole over $3000 dollars in tools in Bridgewater.

Kingsbury Farm workers reported that, after they left around 5 o’clock on New Year’s Eve someone went into the potato house and stole a large number of impact and battery powered tools. The workers realized what had happened when they arrived back at the location at 7 am the next day.

When Officers arrived on scene they spoke with the mechanic at the farm who gave them a list of exactly what had been stolen. He said that the tools were all stolen from the top of the toolbox and not from the inside.

The highest value tools stolen were a 1/2" Snap-on 18v rechargeable impact, valued at near $550 dollars. They also took an even more valuable 3/4" Snap-on air impact, valued at over a $1000.
