Demand for oil

“The last couple of weeks have been difficult with the blizzard and then the colder temperatures but most of our divisions are caught up at this point. Central Aroostook we’re still trying to get, by the end of this week we should be in good shape.”

Other parts of the state are even further behind. Mike Ouellette is assistant manager of the Presque Isle Division of Daigle Oil Company. He says they also see a lot more calls when the weather changes.

“We’ve seen a lot of no heat calls in the last couple of weeks with the cold temperatures, furnaces and boilers are of course are running a little harder and we’ve seen an influx of customers calling saying that there heating equipment aren’t working right or no heat at all.”
