Edmundston Police Conduct Three Arrests

EDMUNDSTON, N.B. (WAGM) -- The Edmundston police conducted three arrests as a result of two simultaneous searches in Edmundston.

On April 14, 2017 two search warrants were executed in two slots of the Queen Street in Edmundston. Three people, a 30-year-old woman and two men between the ages of 29 and 36 years, were arrested in connection with these searches.

The police officers seized marijuana, a significant quantity of methamphetamine as well as a sum of money.

The 30-year-old woman and 29-year-old man have been released under conditions and they will have to appear in court at a later date. 36-year-old Jessy Bernier, was accused of possession of methamphetamine in the purpose of trafficking and breakage of commitment. Beriner will will remain in detention until his next court appearance on April 27th for his request for release.
