Forino sustained a traumatic brain injury in 2010 when she was playing soccer. She had a long road to recovery, but along the way she and her mother Suzanne Morneault decided they wanted to help other people in similar situations.
“I’m hoping that if someone is going through something difficult, they’ll reach out to us and know that what they are going through is hard, and sometimes it just stinks, but we need each other. Two carry the load better than one.”
The two women started the nonprofit ‘All Things Become New’. Right now they have rooms open at this home in Eagle Lake for caregivers.
