Liberals Win Majority in Canada Elections: Trudeau to be New Prime Minister

Ottawa, CN - The 2015 Canadian federal elections have ended. Justin Trudeau WINS to Become Prime Minister as Liberal Party Wins Majority.
The Liberal Party, led by Trudeau, will form the next government after securing at least 170 ridings. Trudeau will displace current Prime Minister Stephen Harper.The Liberal party won a convincing majority, taking 185 seats. There are two ridings in our viewing area and here are the latest results that we have:

In the Madawaska-Restigouche riding, Liberal Rene Arsenault has won with 57 percent...the New Democratic Party's Rosaire L'Italien came in at 25 percent. Incumbent Bernard Valcourt of the Conservative Party was third with 16 percent, while the Green Party's Francoise Aubin came in fourth place. That's now with 100 percent of the polls reporting

It's a little closer in the Tobique Mactaquac riding, Liberal T-J Harvey has beat out Conservative Richard Bragdon. Harvey had 47 percent edging out Bragdon by ten pecent. Bradgon had 37 percent of the vote. Behind those two candidates New Democratic Party's Robert Kitchen got 11 percent of the vote and and Terry Wishart of the Green Party got 5 percent.
