Log truck collides with potato harvester in Hodgdon

At around 11 a.m. this morning, a log truck collided with a potato harvester in Hodgdon.

Police say 63 year old Michael Hagan was driving his 1992 John Deere tractor and pulling a potato harvester on Walker Road.

45 year old Charles Brown was driving his tractor trailer, loaded with logs, north on the road.

As the two vehicles met, the log truck and harvester collided causing significant damage the the harvester.

There was no damage to the log truck trailer beyond paint transfer.

The Maine State Police Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit was contacted due to other issues relating to the log truck.

There were no injuries sustained during this crash.
