One arrested after police find meth in Edmundston business

Members of the Edmundston Police Force, Patrol, Street Crime and Investigations Section, made an arrest following a search of a business in Edmundston.

On January 19th, a search warrant was executed at a store on Canada Road in Edmundston. A 53-year-old man was arrested in connection with this search. His identity cannot be revealed since he has not yet been formally charged.

During the search, the police seized a quantity of methamphetamine.

The 53-year-old was released on bail and will have to appear before a provincial court judge in Edmundston at a later date.
