Presque Isle celebrating city employees

Presque Isle is beginning a new tradition to celebrating the talent of city employees by exhibiting their art on the second floor of City Hall.

For the month of December, employee Lyndsey Maynard’s photographs were on display. Lyndsey is fairly well known by her fellow employees and around the area for her love of and skill with photography. She has been taking photos for several years and especially loves to capture images of her daughter in dance and beauty pageants.

During the month of January, the photographs of Kim Smith will be on display. For many years, Kim was on the other side of the camera. That experience as well as her love of the arts in general has led to a true joy in capturing the beauty of nature and the interesting lines of architecture.

The art of Claude Sutherland will be on display for the month of February.

City Hall is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. except for holidays.
