Project 16 Fitsource, UMPI and UMFK athletics accept challenge

AROOSTOOK COUNTY, Maine (WAGM) - Athletes from both UMFK and UMPI join Joey Prechtl in performing 16 jumping jacks for Project 16.

Project 16 is for the 16 homeless veterans in Aroostook County who were denied any services. WAGM is working with both Cary Medical Center and United Veterans of Maine to raise awareness on this issue.

WAGM will be hosting a telethon on March 9th to raise funds to help build a shelter for all homeless veterans. No matter their needs.
