Taste of the County Maple Butter Blondie Bars

INGREDIENTS
2 Cups Brown Sugar
1 1/4 Sticks of Butter
2 eggs
2 tbsp Vanilla
2 1/4 cups Flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
1/4 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 tsp Salt
1/2 cups Chopped Walnuts
2 cups Butterscotch Chips

GLAZE INGREDIENTS
2 cups Confectioners Sugar
1/2 cups Walnuts
1/3-1/2 cups Maple Syrup (adjust amount to your preferred consistency)

INSTRUCTIONS
Sift dry ingredients together ,add chopped nuts to dry and combine; set aside. Add butter and sugar to mixer, cream together. Add eggs and vanilla, mix to combine and scrape bowl as needed. Stir in dry ingredient mixture and incorporate. Add butterscotch chips and incorporate. Pour batter into half sheet pan, greased and lined with parchment paper. Bake until center is set and knife comes out clean. After cooled, spread topping over bars and cut to portion size. 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

GLAZE INSTRUCTIONS
Combine sugar and syrup, mix to a paste. Adjust consistency until thick, but pourable. Stir in walnuts and pour over cooled blondies.
