Three Arrested for Operating Under the Influence of Drugs

On Monday, October 2nd, Caribou Police charged three different individuals for Operating Under the Influence of Drugs

Around 11:00 a.m. on Monday, Caribou Police responded to a single vehicle crash in which a vehicle rolled over multiple times and landed on its roof in the driveway of a residence on the West Presque Isle Road. The sole occupant of the vehicle, 31 year old Joshua Turner of Fort Fairfield, was not injured.

Officers charged Turner with Operating Under the Influence of Drugs and Failure to Produce Evidence of Insurance. Turner had no injuries from the accident is scheduled for court on December 7, 2017.

That afternoon at approximately 2:45 p.m., a report came in of a vehicle swerving all over the road before pulling into the police station parking lot.

32 year old Adam Worsley of Perham was arrested for Operating Under the Influence of Drugs, Operating After Suspension and a Warrant. Worsley’s court date is December 7, 2017.

Later that evening, around 6:40 p.m., Caribou dispatch received a complaint of a driver operating at extremely low speeds on Route 89 and then on Route 1. Officers located and stopped 61 year old Richard Bilodeau of Limestone, and arrested him for Operating Under the Influence of Drugs and Violation of Conditional Release. Bilodeau’s court date is November 3, 2017.

So far in 2017, Caribou Police Officers have charged 30 people with OUI, nine of which have been drug related. During this same time period last year, there were 27 OUI charges with six of them being drug related.
