Three people arrested after drugs found in vehicle

Members of the Patrole and Street Crime Section of the Edmundston Police Force made three arrests following a roadside interception.

On October 17th, a vehicle was stopped on Iroquois Road in the St-Basile area. During the stop, the three occupants of the vehicle, one man and two women, were arrested.

The police seized a large quantity of methamphetamine and marijuana during the search of the vehicle.

55 year old Gill Armand Boudreau of Grand Falls appeared before a Provincial Court judge in Edmundston to face a charge of possession of marijuana. Boudreau will be back in Provincial Court in Edmundston today for his bail hearing.

The two women from the Edmundston area were released and will have to appear before a Provincial Court judge at a later date.
