Members of the Edmundston Police Force patrol and street crime section made two arrests following a search in Edmundston.
On September 29th, a search warrant was executed in a dwelling on D'Amour Street in Edmundston. During the search, police seized a large quantity of methamphetamine, marijuana and a sum of money.
42 year old Tommy Soucy and 43 year old Jason Soucy appeared before a provincial court judge in Edmundston yesterday afternoon to respond to charges of non-compliance with probation conditions and possession of methamphetamine and marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.
Tommy Soucy was released under certain conditions and will have to appear again before a Provincial Court judge in Edmundston on October 31st.
Jason Soucy will return to Edmundston Provincial Court on October 5th for his bail hearing.
