Veterinarians Ensure Dogs are Ready to Race for Upcoming CanAm

This weekend is the 26th Annual Can Am Crown Sled dog races. The races begin in Fort Kent and go all over Northwestern Maine. The longest race is 250 miles long, so it important the dogs be checked before and during the race to make sure they stay in tip top shape. Newssource 8’s Brandon Beville caught up with the Can Am Chief veterinarian to find out what they look for to make sure the dogs are ready to race.
