The annual Poutine Palooza took place this past weekend.
The event included a poutine eating contest, a "Best Poutine" restaurant contest and a poutine food truck with a dozen different varieties of the famous food.
Reggie Bilodeau, of Augusta, took home first place in the eating contest, chowing down 7.28 lbs. Bilodeau was also the 2016 winner.
Fran Pelletier and Sean Coltart of Madawaska came in second and third, eating 6.93 lbs and 6.70 lbs respectively.
Morin's Variety & Diner claimed first place in the "Best Overall" category with their Thanksgiving poutine, followed by Chez Helen Restaurant's lobster poutine and Orchid's Restaurant's Mac n' Cheese & Chicken poutine.
Long Lake Sporting Club won best tradition poutine.
