Woman arrested in connection with car burglaries in Fort Fairfield

A woman has been arrested in connection multiple vehicle burglaries in Fort Fairfield.

Police 33 year old Amanda Tompkins of Fort Fairfield has been arrested and charged with eleven counts of burglary from a motor vehicle, violation of conditional release. Police say other charges are pending

According to police, video evidence was obtained of Tompkins using multiple stolen credit and debit cards belonging to several of the victims who filed complaints that their vehicles had been ransacked.

The Fort Fairfield Police Department says everything that was stolen has been recovered.

Tompkins was unable to make bail and was transported to the Aroostook County Jail pending a bail hearing.
