County ski championships wrap up in Fort Kent

FORT KENT, Me (WAGM) - The final leg of the Aroostook County ski championships held Wednesday in Fort Kent.

Max Bartley of Presque Isle capped off a perfect season in the County. He won every nordic race this year including today's freestyle event. David Roy of Fort Kent was second, Alec Cyr and Bryce Coffin of Caribou were the next finishers and Kevin Ayotte of Madawaska rounded out the top five.

On the girls side Isabelle Jandreau of Madawaska picked up the title, Presque Isle's Izzy Jackson took second, Fort Kent's Dolcie Tanguay was in third, and Caribou teammates Kendra Furber and Ciara Richards rounded out the top five.

The Caribou boys and girls picked up the team nordic titles and the Fort Kent boys and girls captured the alpine nordic combined titles.
