BOSTON, Ma (WAGM) - The Boston Marathon is just under three weeks away and several runners from our viewing area are listed in the data base to compete in the race from Hopkinton to Boston.

Some marathon veterans will be running the race again this year.
Don Audibert of Fort Kent, Richard Hoppe of Portage Lake, Kimberley Wright of Mapleton, and Louise Connely of Edmundston have competed in the race several times.

Three area runners are leaving in the first wave of runners. Justin Fereshetian of Mars Hill, Thomas Wire of New Limerick, and Tracy Guerrette of St Agatha all have low big numbers and will leave in the opening wave.

Other names listed on the entry list are Kayla Buck of Mapleton, Jill Dunnett of Woodstock, and Pascal Hudon of Edmundston. The race is Monday April 17th.
