Maine Basketball Hall of Fame announces Class of 2017

BANGOR, Me (WAGM) - The Maine Basketball Hall of Fame announced the class of 2017 today at the Cross Center.

19 inductees, six "Legends", and two teams make up the group that will be honored on August 20th. Diane Nagle who played for Houlton and Terry Spurling who coached at Aroostook Central Institute and Houlton are inductees. Jim Stephenson who graduated from Fort Fairfield and set the University of Maine record for most points in a game in 1969 with 54.
Tom Pelletier who played for Fort Kent is being honored as a legend. The full list is attached in the related documents section.
