Sjoberg wins second straight New England Championship

WESTBROOK, Me (WAGM) - Presque Isle's Faith Sjoberg is a two time New England Elks Hoop
Shoot winner.

Sjoberg captured the 12-13 year division on Saturday. She made 24 of 25 foul shots to claim the title and a bid in the Nationals for the second straight year.

"I just hope I could make it Chicago again because it was a great experience. I knew I could do it. I just did my best. and happened to win," she said.

Sjoberg will now compete in Chicago April 22nd. Sjoberg made 24 of 25, including making 14 in a row to end the competition. We will have more with Sjoberg before she goes to Nationals for second straight year.

Brayden Castonguay of Washburn also had a great day at the competition in the Portland Area. Castonguay made 22 of 25 to finish second in his age group. The winner of his group made all 25 foul shots to advance to the Nationals.
