Weigh-off determines Muskie Derby title

(WAGM) - It came down a weigh off in the annual Muskie Derby.

The registration stations at Fort Kent and Grand Isle were very busy for three days and several muskie were measured and weighed during that span.

Chuck Cabaniss and Dan Dionne both brought in muskie that measured 45 and 7/8th inches Cabaniss won the derby based on the weight of 23.36 pounds Dionne's was barely smaller at 23.25 pounds. Del Harrington finished third.

Ethan Lavigne won the youth division

Bruce Bouley caught the biggest bass measuring 21 and a quarter inches and weighing in at over 5 pounds.
