White goes over 250mph at Loring

LIMESTONE, Me (WAGM) - The Land speed races held on the Loring runway over 5 days. Hundreds of runs were made as drivers looked to set new records in various classes.

Bob Keselowski driving this car that was driven by his son Brad on the NASCAR circuit just missed 250 finishing at 249.4 miles an hour. Jason White of Northwood, New Hampshire broke the 250 mile an hour barrier. He broke the mark twice with speeds of 253.047 and then came back with a speed of 253.6 miles an hour.

The event wrapped up Sunday and drivers will have another chance to set new records at the Harvest event September 1-3.
