PI Heritage Breakfast

In an effort to involve their students in Presque Isle's sesquicentennial celebration, the 6th grade teachers at Presque Isle Middle School decided to have their students learn more about the history and heritage of the city.  Students have been learning about Presque Isle through a series of articles by Dr. Richard Graves, taking a walking tour of the Vera Estey House and areas of Presque Isle, saving $150 to donate to the Historical Society, as well as two culminating projects.  Kelly O'Mara has more.

The new Presque Isle Maine Memory Network website was unveiled at the PI Public Library on Saturday, June 6th.
