Downtown Bangor
The best weekend to celebrate science! The 2nd Annual Maine Science Festival will be March 18-20th, 2016 in Bangor. We are excited to be welcoming to Maine, our headliner, Nate Silver from FiveThirtyEight. The Maine Science Festival (MSF) takes place throughout Bangor. With our partners, the MSF provides a weekend of events, exhibits, hands-on activities, lectures, and facilitated discussions with broadly accessible themes designed to engage and excite. MSF is a celebration of science and technology, designed to capture the excitement and energy found at art and film festivals. By engaging diverse organizations in demonstrating the many practical applications of scientific discovery, the festival will illuminate the integral role of science in society, deepen understanding, and dispel the sense of intimidation that commonly surrounds scientific study.
