Maine CDC reports 17 new cases of COVID 19; 4 people have recovered since yesterday

AUGUSTA, Maine —

The total number of coronavirus cases in Maine topped 4,000 on Friday, according to the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

Maine now has a total of 4,014 COVID-19 cases, of those 411 are currently active.

No new deaths were reported, keeping the total number of Mainers with COVID-19 who have died at 124.

3,479 people have recovered from the virus, an increase of 4 since yesterday.

Aroostook County remains at 33 cases, 3 of those are currently active.
