A Border Between: Couple Waits Patiently to Reunite

It’s been almost 5 months since the border between the US and Canada closed to all non-essential travel. In June, the Canadian Government announced that foreign nationals who are immediate family members of Canadian citizens and permanent residents can cross, but the definition of ‘immediate family’ still excludes many from being allowed to see their loved ones.
