FORT KENT, Maine (WAGM) - A new enrollment and advancement center is currently under construction.

Work began in June. The new space will provide a spot for students to gather and potential students to learn about the school while getting a campus tour.

“They have been working on a concrete foundation which we anticipate to be completed by next week. Then they’ll start moving to do work on the inside of the building through the winter, they’ll work on the structure, the roofing, the walls."

Deb Hedeen, President of UMFK

UMFK says it hasn’t experienced any delays in construction and expects the whole project to be completed by Fall 2021.
