Maine CDC reports increase of 31 coronavirus cases, 38 new recoveries

AUGUSTA, Maine (WMTW) — The Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention reported an increase of 31 coronavirus cases on Friday and no new deaths.

The number of Mainers with COVID-19 who have died remains at 146.

The 31 additional cases bring the total in Maine since the outbreak began to 6,095.

According to the Maine CDC, 5,307 people have recovered from the virus, an increase of 38 since Thursday.

Aroostook County remains at 59 cases. Maine CDC reports one new recovery since yesterday. There are now 5 active cases in The County.
