4 more Mainers with COVID-19 have died as state reports 156 new cases

AUGUSTA, Maine (WMTW) — The Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention is reporting four new coronavirus-related deaths on Wednesday and 156 new cases.

A total of 170 Mainers with COVID-19 have now died. Two new deaths were reported in York County. The two other deaths were in Kennebec and Knox counties.

The 156 new cases bring the total since the beginning of the outbreak to 9,519.

There were 204 recoveries reported, bringing the total to 7,229.

Aroostook County has no new cases according to the Maine CDC. One new recovery was reported since yesterday. There are now 12 active COVID 19 cases in The County.
