11 more Mainers with COVID-19 have died

Augusta, Maine (WAGM) -Eleven more Mainers with COVID-19 have died as the state reported 402 new cases on Saturday.

The eleven new deaths bring the total since the beginning of the outbreak to 292. Three of the deaths were in Kennebec County, one was in York County, three were in Androscoggin, and one in Cumberland, Franklin, Hancock and Penobscot Counties.

The 402 new cases bring the total to 18,739, according to the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

The Maine CDC reported 22 new recoveries, bringing the total to 10,766. Active cases increased to 7,681.

Aroostook County has 18 new cases and one recovery. 257 cases are active in The County.
