Maine CDC says Hospital staff involved in outbreak at AR Gould weren’t vaccinated
PRESQUE ISLE, Maine (WAGM) - Today, Maine CDC reported that there are now nine cases of COVID-19 associated with the outbreak at Northern Light AR Gould hospital.
“Of those nine cases, four of them are them are among staff members and five of them are among patients.” Dr. Nirav Shah, Maine CDC Director.
Maine CDC is working with the hospital to test all of the potentially affected patients as well as all of the staff that were in and around the medical surgical unit on the floor where this outbreak seems to be focused.
