Amber Alert canceled; 2 girls in Texas found safe

MCKINNEY, Texas (Gray News) - An Amber Alert issued by the McKinney Police Department in Texas for two girls has been canceled after they were found safe, officials said.

Jessica Burns, 9, and 6-year-old Jennifer Burns had been reported missing Thursday. McKinney police canceled the alert Sunday evening and said Jame Burns, 60, had been taken into custody and charged with two counts of kidnapping, according to multiple reports.
