Central Aroostook Association tours Presque Isle City Hall
Members learn about municipal operations and services
PRESQUE ISLE, Maine (WAGM) - City staff welcomed members of the Central Aroostook Association to City Hall recently for a tour of municipal facilities and operations.
The visit provided participants with an opportunity to learn more about how local government functions, meet city staff, and explore the services that support the community. Representatives from various departments shared insights into their roles, answered questions, and highlighted the importance of civic engagement.
The Central Aroostook Association, an organization that has been serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities for over 60 years, arranged the visit as part of its ongoing efforts to promote community involvement and educational experiences for its members.
“We were honored to host such a wonderful group today,” said Sonja Eyler, City Manager. “Opportunities like this help build stronger connections within our community and foster a better understanding of the services available to all residents.”
Participants expressed appreciation for the warm welcome and the chance to experience City Hall firsthand.
