Car Fire Interrupts Rockin’ on Riverside Setup

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine (WAGM) - A car fire briefly pulled firefighters away from the Rockin’ on Riverside fundraiser in Presque Isle last night.

The Presque Isle Fire Department says around 5:30 Thursday evening, firefighters were setting up at the Riverside Pavillion for Rockin’ on Riverside when they were called to a car fire at the KFC/Taco Bell parking lot at 808 Main Street. Officials say upon arrival crews quickly contained the fire to the trunk of the vehicle. The cause has been ruled accidental. No other information has been released.
