Vanessa joined the weather team in July 2022. Originally from Auburn, Massachusetts, her passion for weather began at age five. Throughout high school that passion continued and she was always predicting whether there would be a snow day for her classmates. When it was time to look for colleges for meteorology ,Vanessa fell in love with Northern Vermont University-Lyndon. She graduated in May of 2022 and is thrilled to begin her career in New England.
In her free time, you can find Vanessa listening to one of her favorite genres of music, classic rock. While she does not have a favorite TV show at the moment, she has been known to love watching game shows and dance competition shows.

Showers continue throughout the day with heavy downpours in areas to the north this morning. Showers start to lighten up once we get into the lunchtime hours becoming more light to moderate in nature. Once we get through the rain, the sunshine returns for the second half of the week.
