Aroostook County is a new adventure and Matt is looking forward to meeting and telling the stories of the people who call Aroostook County home!

Matt St. Jean hails from just outside of Boston and is excited to join the WAGM 8 team. He recently received his Master’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. Prior to making the foray into broadcasting, Matt worked in several fields including the United States Senate, a military non-profit, and advertising.

Growing up in Boston, he is a diehard New England sports fan and enjoys rooting on the Sox, Celts, Pats, and Bruins. Outside of the office he likes playing recreational activities such as golf and basketball, but is looking forward to picking up some new outdoor hobbies in Northern Maine.
