Car Crashes into Presque Isle Home Injuring Driver

PRESQUE ISLE, ME-- A Presque Isle teen crashed into a home in Presque Isle this morning after losing control of his brakes.

Presque Isle Police Patrolman Tyler Cote tells Newssource 8, at 8:16 Wednesday morning, 18 year old Jordan Scott was driving his 2002 Ford Mustang along Wilson Street when trying to slow down and couldn't brake. His car crashed into a home, 23 Park Street. Cote says the home was unoccupied at the time.

Scott sustained minor injuries and was taken to A. R. Gould Hospital.

There were no other injuries. Cote says Presque Isle Fire and Ambulance responded to the scene.

Subsequently, the vehicle was removed from scene. The accident remains under investigation.
