Car strikes bus on Main Street in Presque Isle

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine - Presque Isle police responded to a motor vehicle accident between a car and a school bus Wednesday afternoon.

Constance Parker was driving a 1995 Buick and failed to stop at a stop light at the intersection of Main and Allen streets. Michael Truman was driving an Ashland School District bus and was going through a green light when Parker hit the front driver's side of the school bus. The bus was partially loaded with students. Two of them were transported to Northern Light AR Gould Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Truman was also brought in with non-threatening injuries. Parker was treated and released at the scene. Her vehicle was totaled and the school bus was removed from the roadway.
