Eagle Lake home for caregivers

A home in Eagle Lake that’s a getaway for caregivers is nearing completion.

After Mindy Forino sustained a brain injury in 2010, she and her mom decided to use their experience to help others. They’ve started a nonprofit and have big dreams of helping people in need.

“Mom and I along the past seven years have hit so many road blocks, if you could say it like that, and there was just times of being so low and feeling so desperate to just get help. I told myself that when I was in a position of feeling better my goal was going to be to help other people.”

The two women started the nonprofit ‘All Things Become New’. Right now they have rooms open at this home in Eagle Lake for caregivers.
They have an event coming up to raise money to complete the home.
