AROOSTOOK COUNTY, Maine - With winds expected to strengthen Saturday night into Sunday, Emera Maine is positioning staff to handle outage reports, address downed wires, perform damage assessment and safely restore power to all customers who may experience service interruptions as a result of the weather.
"We are continuing to monitor the forecast and are positioning our resources across the service territory," says Brad Flannery, Emera Maine storm manager. "We know that customers rely on us to ensure their service is restored safely and as quickly as possible."
Customers in northern and eastern Maine are asked to prepare for potential outages by having a supply of water, nonperishable foods, flashlights and batteries.
