On December 13th, shortly after 7 p.m., the West District RCMP responded to a single vehicle crash in Scotch Lake, N.B.
The driver and lone occupant of the vehicle, a 63 year old man from Sringfield, died at the scene due to his injuries.
It is believed the crash occurred when the car left the road and struck a pole.
An RCMP collision reconstructionist is assisting with the investigation.
The exact cause of the collision is still under investigation, however, slippery road conditions may have been a contributing factor.
