We're in harvest time here in the County, and, with any crop, there are bound to be leftovers in the field. Gleaning is the process of collecting those leftovers and that process was going on yesterday at local potato and broccoli fields.
But the gleaners might not be who you'd think. A group from the New England Conference of the United Methodist Church was doing the work in order to serve people here in the County and throughout New England.
